On this 2-hour Alternative tour we’ll look at the period from the Second world war into the modern liberal paradise that Amsterdam is today. Explore the Provo movement with the white bike plan keeping Amsterdam’s city center mostly free from automobiles; look at the polices which would lead to the housing revolution and squatting; and of course discuss the origins of Amsterdam’s Coffeeshop policies and discuss what’s going on in them.
