The city use to host something called 24hr Amsterdam where they would arrange various free or cheap activities to explore Amsterdam. It’s grown and become so popular that they now spread it out over the year and have a separate one for the different areas, this time being East Amsterdam.
A quick look at events and I see tours, concerts, food experiences and even thai chi for beginners (at 1am). Could be a great way to explore Amsterdam’s Eastern city in 24hours.
